Lumina's highly regarded theatre arts program provides rigorous and disciplined training for young actors in a profesional setting.
They needed a web site that conveyed the professional nature of the program as well as the visual excitement of their renowned stage productions.
Working with Art Director Cynthia Friedman, who provided a beautiful new logo, I created a spare, open and elegant design, in which the photographs of the performances take center stage.
The site features a series of performance image galleries and a Performance Calendar that can be viewed as either a list or a calendar grid view, with a smaller calendar grid available on the home page.
The entire site is dynamic, with up-to-date content pulled from a database. All pages can be easily edited by the client through the ExpressionEngine Content Management System.
